These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the digital services provided by Recore Church ("we", "us", "our"), including this website, our mobile app, our giving platform, and any related services we operate.

By using these services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

Use of the Services

You agree to use our services in good faith and only for the purposes for which they are intended: connecting with the church, participating in our ministries, giving, communicating with our team, and accessing church resources. You agree not to:

• Use the services to harass, abuse, or impersonate any person.
• Attempt to access another person's account or data.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the services.
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or republish content without our written permission.

Member Accounts and Content

If you create an account or post content (for example a prayer request, a profile update, or a comment in a community space), you are responsible for the accuracy of what you provide and for keeping your account credentials confidential. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the content you post within the services for the purposes for which it was submitted (for example, to display a prayer request to the prayer team you submitted it to).

You retain ownership of your content. We will not republish or sell it.

Donations

Donations made through our giving platform are governed by these Terms together with the giving platform's own terms (where applicable). Donations are voluntary and, subject to local tax law, may qualify for a tax receipt. Donation receipts are issued by Recore Church based on the records held in our giving system.

Refunds for donations made in error are considered case-by-case. Contact us using the details below to request a review.

Availability and Changes

We provide the services on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may need to schedule maintenance, change features, or retire services. Where reasonably possible we will give advance notice of material changes. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the current version is always available at this URL.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recore Church is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of your use of the services. The services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

We may suspend or close an account if it is being used in breach of these Terms or in a way that puts other people at risk. You may stop using the services and request closure of your account at any time by contacting us.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Privacy

Your use of the services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information.
